Our client is a progressive CPA practice located in Perth, providing tailored accounting and financial solutions to SMEs across a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs

  • Manage BAS, GST, and FBT returns

  • Provide strategic tax planning advice and minimise client liabilities

  • Liaise with the ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies

  • Lead complex tax return reviews and ensure compliance with legislation

  • Maintain expert knowledge of tax law and its applications

  • Oversee Xero-based bookkeeping and payroll processes

  • Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

  • Mentor junior accountants and contribute to internal training

  • Assist with marketing initiatives and client growth strategies


Skills and Experience
  • Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board

  • 3+ years experience in public practice accounting

  • CPA or CA qualified (or working towards completion)

  • Strong understanding of Australian tax legislation

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills

  • High attention to detail with a proactive mindset

  • Confident using Xero and cloud-based accounting tools

  • Committed to continuous learning and professional growth
